A new Type of Visa has been introduced in the Visa system of the Islamic Republic of Iran aimed at facilitating trade and economic ties

Notice on the Issuance of Visa Type K

In view of the importance of promoting economic and commercial ties, the specific Visa Type K has been designated as Trade Visa in the Visa and Immigration system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The supporting documents for obtaining a K-Type Visa include a Letter of Introduction from the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture; Syndicates and other verifiable Commerce and Manufacturing Unions, as well as Banking and Financial Institutions, and Economic Operators active in import and export in Belgium and Luxembourg.

As was the case in the past, Iranian economic operators may upload the required documents on the Electronic Visa System to apply for a Trade Visa for their foreign counterparts who aim to embark on business trips to Iran.
