Ambassador Dehghani met with the President of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives

Ambassador Dehghani met with the President of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives. The two sides discussed all issues of mutual interest and concern.

On Tuesday, 2 February 2021, H.E. Dr. Gholamhossein Dehghani, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and the European Union, met with Madame, Eliane TILLIEUX, President of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives.

Ambassador Dehghani and Madame Tillieux had a constructive exchange on the current state of play on the bilateral agenda and discussed the prospects of inter-parliamentary relations. Among other issues of mutual interest discussed by the two sides was promotion of economic ties.

Iranian Ambassador and the President of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives discussed the prospects of the JCPOA and expressed hope for enhancing cooperation on all topics on the bilateral agenda.
